Which color makes you feel most comfortable?
It is time to paint the house something besides Navajo White, I want our home to be a sanctuary from the speed of life. I know prisons use light pink and light blue to do this, but I am tired of that. I have a great
capacity for appreciating lots of color and use lodge type decorating.
I do have a classic old Italian dining room set and oriental rugs with
geometric designs with almost a turquoise blue and rust, but there are nice navy and sage shades embedded in them, too.
Thanks for Your Help,
Anny

With your classic Italian dining room furniture and the rugs, a medium terra cotta color on the walls would pull the look together well.

Red is a soothing color. Also yellow, not to bright, is also soothing and bright and cheery. Red would be great in your dining room. Yellow in bedroom and some shade of lt. green/sea foam green in bathroom. Good luck!

it all depends on your style, i personally would go with the sage green it is relaxing and very pretty.
our house has sage green carpets, medium tone wood floors ( think light walnut) with tan, ecru and burgandy valances, comforters and accent pieces. our home is very cozy and comforting after a long day of running about. we find that after being out all day we can come home and the feelings of being overstimulated seem to drift away along with any stress we endured during said day.
my advise is take your time in making your decision, get plenty of color swatches in different colors and see which ones you feel drawn to and go with those. after all it is your space!
