What wood goes best with gold frames, etc.?
I want to decorate a room in a library fashion, with gold/crystal chandeliers, gold photo frames and framed mirrors, red and cream persian carpets, a beige sofa and that sort but I cannot decide which wood type would be best for this? Any ideas out there?

Any dark color. Id say a rich mahogany. Or an expresso color. Definately a dark tone. And I’d be easy with how much red tone you pick in your wood because with decorating with the red… it may become to much red with any cherry in the wood.
