check out Leow’s.They have a sale going on…I think they rip out the old carpet for free.
The installation is about 2-3 dollars/foot,,it’s according what carpet you choose.
Don’t forget the padding underneath the carpet.

Price depends on the carpet you choose but ripping the carpet out yourself would save you from paying them to do it. It’s pretty easy to do and they would just have to come lay the new and save you quite a bit of money.

I just our home measured for replacement floor to floor carpet 1300 sq.feet. The carpet itself was 2 dollars a foot. The replacement pad for the main living area came to 700 dollars, pulling up the old carpet and removal cost 150 dollars and the installation is 100 dollars. We used Home Depot to get an idea of costs and they use an outside contractor to come into your home and do the exact measurements of rooms, closets, etc. for 35 dollars. This is done to make sure that you don’t buy more carpet then you need. Well good luck, we are still undecided as to if we should go with wood floors that costs no more then carpet but installation costs are 2 dollars a foot approx. the same as the flooring materials. PS I forgot some places have a fee for moving furniture an additional 100 dollars
