She has all the tools to crawl, but won’t and she is tearing her face up, what can I do?
My 6 month old daughter can lift her front up on her hands and be clear off the floor down to her waist. She can lift her legs up and get on her knees and push herself forward. What she won't do is both of these actions together and so when she wants to move she is not using her arms. Normally I would say give it time, but she is dragging her cheek on the floor when she moves and her cheeks are getting really red and raw from this. We have her on the softest blankets we have, but if you rub your whole weight on your cheek on silk it is going to give a rug burn after a while.
Can I do anything to help her? I feel like if I don't do something soon she is going to have lasting scars on her cheeks because they are really that bad, and are about to bleed they are so raw!

You were right in the thinking of give it time. She will not allow herself to get overly hurt. If it starts to burn she will stop. What you can do is when she is not trying, put some cream on her face to help sooth the skin. Not much else you can do. She has to learn in her own way.

Well i don’t know how to teach ehr to crawl, but maybe you should build some cheeks procections for her. It’s not a joke. Just get something to hold a soft tissue on her cheeks. While she learns to crawl it might help.

That sounds terrible. If you are concerned, follow up with your doctor. But kids do the weirdest things when they are learning new skills. I think this will pass within a week to two weeks.
Actually if you try to "help" her she may continue to do it. I bet if you let her push her face around for a little while she’ll figure out "this hurts" and try to move her body in a new way. It’s amazing how babies problem solve their way out of these kind of situations.
Good luck.
