making a larger rug from smaller rugs?
Is there a way to make a large area rug from smaller rugs? I want a large area rug that will go under my reclining sofa and loveseat in part because they slide on our wood floors. I've tried using that grabbing material and that doesn't work. Does anyone have a fix for that? Or do they have a way to use multiple like 5' x 7' foot rugs go together where they look like one rug, but not sewn together because I might need to have them cleaned. I just think one big rug would be tough for me to get cleaned if I needed to transport them. Any ideas? Or any cheap rugs out in the Internet that you can help me find? I'm in the northern Illinois area.

You can tape them together using carpet tape. If you don’t want to adhere them to the flooring underneath, just don’t remove the protective paper on the other side of the tape. You can find carpet tape in the home improvement centers.

There is something known as "carpet tape" that you apply to the back of the rugs. You can find it at carpet stores or DIY/Home Depot type places. I know sometimes people just use duct tape… i don’t know if that would work for you, but i thought i’d suggest that, too.
