depending on the condition.. sun fade, ground in dirt furniture fade. then approach the mgr. and let him know you’re interested. it may belong to the prop dept. and not for sale. then, depending on the items status, you should ask for a discount a bit higher than you expect because the odds are good that he will counter offer before you settle on the price(if it’s available)…that way you get the best possible deal for yourself. i’ve done this to and got some really neat stuff. just make sure you really scope the rug for potential fading..you can’t fix that. start around 60% good luck
This all depends on what kind of rug it is. A year’s worth of use will not affect the value of some types of rugs in the slightest. I’d ask for a discount in the amount of a professional cleaning which is usually $2-3 per square foot.

At least 50%. Or the cost of having it professionally cleaned + any damage.
