The tile is much harder to bring up than the carpet, so the answer depends on the mix of the two, and your local market.
The only way for you to know it to get multiple quotes from reputable contractors.
Use bamboo, less expensive, attractive and GREEN!!!

Where I come from, tile installers charge about $4 per sq. ft. to lay tile. (That includes mastic and grout.) So no, that price is in line with what I would expect to pay in the Southeast.
