I need help deciding on a new colour scheme for living room?
I want to decorate my living room and want something fresh to brighten the place up, here's a brief description of my current set-up:
leather suite - cream/stone with a chocolate brown round the bottom
chocolate brown leather furniture
white fireplace
laminate flooring with a cream/brown rug
Current wall colour scheme - alternative beige and blue walls (looks really nice)
I am currently bored with the scheme but having only just bought most of my furniture I don't want to change all that....
If anyone has any ideas of some good colour schemes I'd be keen to hear them, I'm rubbish at picking colours

soften the leather by working around the colors that is in the furniture. red pops well with brown and cream since you have blue in the walls incorporating probably something in the grassy green area may help the blue, or use your wall as the focal point and tie everything in from there. good luck.

Add accents of green and orange. Use throw pillows, paintings, or a bowl of citrus fruit.

you can leave all the big things the way it is. adding little things here and there actually can really brighten a place and make it different. find some very pretty vases and lamps and paintings that have really nice or bright colors and it will make a world of difference.

A pale turquoise, turquoise and brown are biggies right now. Put up crown molding for the extra look and paint white to frame and match fireplace. Bring out colors with pictures and wall sconces on wall.
