    What size is it? These items are usually priced per square foot. If the piece is used, in less than pristine condition, and/or in a pattern that is not pleasing to consumers at the moment, then it may not be worth too much, as hook rugs do not have that good a resale value. If the item is antique, you may have luck at an antique store as opposed to an Oriental rug shop.

    is it from a kit or from scratch

    is the fabric that holds the wool (the squares) synthetic or natural

    this determines the value
