How do you get wax out of old carpet?
Spilled hot green candle wax on a very old, stained, kind of nasty carpet... renting so it has to come out soon. :-\ what's the quickest way to get it out? What is most efficient?

Use a brown paper bag, without red black print, and place this over the wax. Next warm up an iron and place it over the paper bag, press firmly, keep moving the paper bag to a fresh position until you can no longer pick up any melted wax. If a color (DYE) remains, this is considered permanent.
