Z bar is used on straight edges but I’m looking for something like Z bar that I can bend around the edge of the tile and still fold the carpet under.

How can I cover old and yuck carpet with a non-allergenic alternative without ripping up the existing carpet?

Our landlord wont let us replace the carpet but it’s old and yuck! Way beyond the help of steam-cleaning, I cant begin to imagine the allergens living in it. Is there a way we can cover it with something smooth its not so dusty?

Ripped up old carpet on stairs to basement, better to use linoleum or carpent again to cover stairs?

I have two small children so my mother and husband think it would be safer to have the carpet. I think it would look nice and easier to clean to have the linoleum covering, and I don’t think carpet is that much safer. Does anyone else have a preference? If so why?

I am taking up some old carpet in my son's bedroom. He has old tile underneath. What can I do to tile?
