Are there any expert designers or just people with good ideas, who can help me design my room?
I love all the colors in the movie poster for "Across the Universe".

I have one normal sized window, on which I could put curtains, white walls, which I can paint, and a pale, teal colored blue carpet which I have to work with (though I hate it.)
I could probably buy accessories (lamps and mirrors and things too, except I dont want any more mirrors because my closet is very wide an has mirrored sliding doors.)
Okay, Im talking too much. Any cool ideas are welcome. Im kindof a quirky person so I dont want anything too plain or drab.

I would look for a bedding set that captures the outer space sky and try to get a deep shade of teal in the set. I would paint the walls a deeper teal than the carpeting. Black drapes with teal sheers underneath create a unity with walls and carpet. Use some twinkle type lights for atmosphere. Accent with red and live green plants (silk, if you have a purple thumb). Get a black area rug.
Would you get the poster to hang in the room?

why not paint the walls pinstriped..
with blue and white.. and add red accents??
Like the bed comforters..an area rug?
