Any ideas for decorating in shabby chic with a medium/powder blue carpet?
It's for my 3 year old daughter, I want to add cute antiques to it, too. Just confused on what to do with the colors. Thanks! She has white furniture already..

I would keep it all very pale blue and white.

Then I would paint the walls a very pale blue like Sherwin Williams Snowdrop.

I would buy a white frame and hang this http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=33161160 over a bookcase or comfy chair (match the hair color to your little girl’s)
In a matching frame I would get the month print of your little girl’s birth month http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5317715§ion_id=5349868 This could be hung anywhere.
I would next get wooden letters to spell out your daughter’s name. These are very shabby chic http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=26465018 and I would ask her to do a similar design with a blue background the same color as the carpet.

Check out some magazines and hgtv.com. Find some bedding she or you like for her, just have touches of the blue to make it apart of the room and it won’t look like a sore thumb. Hope you enjoy the process. Roxanne
